I, Helen DeBaker-Vorce, A Country Singer & Songwriter, play music with my husband, Lead guitarist/singer, Phil Vorce.

I have been writing songs and playing music since an early age.
I began singing in church with my mother, who taught me how to play the guitar.
As a young girl, I started out as a solo act playing at local events.
Then at the age of approx. 22, I was asked to join a local band and here I am now so many years later.
I have entertain at local honky tonks to large auditoriums ( one being the Grand Ole Opry) opening and singing along side Nashville stars.
At this time, I continue to sing/play music and independently promote my music CD, Helen DeBaker, "My Music" on the internet, along with other songs I have written under my new name, Helen DeBaker-Vorce.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have backed up and open for Nashville entertainers on the road in Michigan, Also, Fairs and Festivals, Private Party's,Casino's, ect..
Your musical influences
Classic Country Artists like Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, Tanya Tucker, to many to mentioned. My Mom played and listened to them all.
Also, I loved and listened to many of the Classic and Soft Rock artists.What equipment do you use?
Depending on the venue, A Sound Company is hired for Shows or Festivals.
We also have our own Sound System for smaller events.Anything else?
I am very thankful to my Family, Friends and Fans.
It is their support that has kept me active as a singer and musician.
